Edit Your Clip Sections, Schedule a Week of Posts, and Auto-Clip New Episodes

Section-based clipping turns one long video into a week of clips. That has always been the core of how KlydeLabs works — the AI maps your video to its natural structure and produces one clip per section, giving you full coverage instead of a handful of guesses.

What was missing was control. You got the clips the AI produced, in the format it chose, and you moved on. If a section was too long, or two sections should have been one, or you wanted to cut the outro from the set — the only option was to leave those clips out entirely.

Three features shipped today that change this: a section editor that lets you reshape the cut before you produce, a scheduler so you can map a week of posts to a calendar, and auto-ingest so new episodes from your YouTube channel or podcast RSS become clips without you lifting a finger. Together, they complete the loop from raw recording to ready-to-post content.

Add or remove sections from any clip

KlydeLabs has always given you full coverage — every section becomes a clip, and you choose what to post. The section editor makes "choosing what to post" mean something more than just skipping a clip in the download queue.

When you open any clip, you see the sections the AI identified laid out in order. Each one is labeled and shows its duration. From there you have three controls.

Toggle sections in or out. Every section starts In set. Set any section to Off and it drops out of the clip entirely. Toggle it back and it returns. You are not deleting anything — just deciding what goes into the final render. "Produce N clips" at the top of the editor updates in real time to show how many clips will render based on what's currently in the set.

Split a section at the playhead. Scrub to any point inside a section, then click "Split section here" or press S. The section divides at that exact frame into two independent sections, each of which you can toggle independently. Use this when the AI identified a long segment as one unit but you want the first half in your TikTok set and the second half in your LinkedIn set.

Sections under 3 seconds auto-merge. If a split creates a fragment shorter than 3 seconds, KlydeLabs merges it into the adjacent section automatically. This keeps the clip set clean without making you manually clean up edge cases.

Every change in the editor is undoable. Step back through your edits as many times as you need before you hit Produce.

The result is a set of clips that reflects your actual judgment about your content, not just the AI's first pass. Full coverage means every section is represented — and now you control exactly which of those sections make it to the final output.

Plan a week of posts with the scheduler

Once you have a set of clips you want to post, the scheduler lets you map them to a calendar before you download.

Open the scheduler and you see a 7-day view. Pick a clip from your set, choose a platform — TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn, or X — and select a date, a time, and a caption. Add as many entries as you want across the week. Most creators using one long video find they can fill Monday through Friday without reaching for a second recording. When a scheduled time arrives, we send you an email with the clip ready to download and the caption you wrote attached. You download it, open the platform, and post. The caption is already in your clipboard.

Auto-posting to connected accounts is rolling out. If you want to be notified when direct publishing goes live for your platforms, you can opt in from the scheduler settings page and we will let you know as each platform becomes available.

The scheduler is not a publishing tool today — it is a planning and reminder tool. That distinction matters: some platforms have rules about third-party auto-posting, and some creators prefer to review clips one final time before they go live. The reminder workflow keeps you in control of the actual post while removing the mental overhead of remembering what to post and when.

Auto-clip every new episode (auto-ingest)

The section editor and scheduler help with videos you already have. Auto-ingest handles what comes next.

Connect a YouTube channel or a podcast RSS feed once, and KlydeLabs monitors it for new episodes. When a new episode appears, it auto-downloads and begins processing. Depending on how you configure the feed, the result is either clips "ready to review" waiting for you in the dashboard, or a set of clips produced automatically and ready to download without any action on your part.

You can connect up to 5 feeds across YouTube channels and RSS feeds in any combination. If a new episode arrives outside your plan's monthly hours — overnight, on a holiday, whenever your quota is already used up — it waits in the queue and processes at the start of your next billing cycle.

A few things worth knowing about how this works:

• Ready to review vs. Produce automatically. The default is ready to review: clips land in your dashboard and you approve before anything renders. If you switch a feed to "Produce automatically," every new episode processes without intervention. Both modes are configurable per feed.
• Your existing quotas apply. Auto-ingest uses the same monthly hours allowance as manual uploads. A 45-minute podcast episode uses 45 minutes of your plan's quota regardless of whether you uploaded it manually or it came in through a connected feed.
• No new format or caption choices per episode. Each feed inherits the aspect ratio and caption settings you set when you connected it. If you want different settings for a specific episode, upload it manually.

The practical upside is that your backlog of new content never builds up while you are busy. Connect your podcast feed on Monday, and by Friday your latest three episodes are already in the dashboard as clips — ready to drop into the scheduler and map to next week's calendar.
